Newborn Photoshoot with Parents
Newborn Baby Photos with Parents
You’re new Parents (congrats!) and might be wondering what to expect from a newborn photoshoot. Of course we photograph your brand new baby but I also believe that it’s important to show up in photos with them too. This photoshoot isn’t just for you, it’s for your baby to look back on when they’re all grown up.
Here are a few ways that I like to include Parents in their Newborn photoshoot…
Cuddled up, looking at baby.
This is an easy pose to capture, simply get in close and gaze at your brand new baby. All of the feels right here.
Baby on the Beanbag
This one allows for several gorgeous photos. Capturing this from different angles allows me to achieve a collection of very different images without anyone moving.
Kissing Baby
This is another easy prompt but such a beautiful moment to capture. Baby can be on the beanbag or in your arms.
Holding Baby - Individual
This is totally down to personal preference. I’ll ask you to hold your baby however you feel comfortable, whether you’re stood up or sat down. As you can see there are lots of ways to do this one, each equally beautiful.
So as you can see, there are lots of ways to be involved in your newborn photoshoot. If you have older Children then I also encourage you to include them, I’ll be putting a blog together on that very soon.
