Gift Guide: Baby's First Christmas
Baby’s First Christmas Gift Ideas
It’s baby’s first Christmas - how exciting! But what on earth do you buy a tiny human that can barely sit up, let alone enjoy opening presents?! Don’t panic, I’m here to help and have put together a list of gorgeous gift ideas for your baby’s very first Christmas.
Clothes Stand
These handcrafted wooden clothes stands from Fall With Grace are simply beautiful. I have two myself and cannot recommend them more! A favourite amongst celebrity Mums and bloggers (Stacey Soloman is a huge fan!) this is a must for Baby’s first Christmas.
Personalised Christmas Decorations
Ok, so these aren’t necessarily gift ideas but you need a baby’s first Christmas decoration don’t you? As well as being handmade to order these are just £3 each - what an absolute bargain!

Wooden Toys
If you follow me you’ll know how much of a HUGE fan I am of wooden toys. Not only do they look soooo much nicer than brightly coloured plastic, they’re more sustainable and environmentally friendly too - winning! I’ve shared a few of my favourite shops for wooden toys, a lot of which I have in the studio. Go and check them out!
Baby’s Bedroom Decor
These wonderful handmade wall banners by House of Hooray are a must for any nursery or playroom. As well as looking beautiful they’re also full of positivity - the perfect combo!
Get creative
These gorgeous crayons from Dawn & Day come in 12 skin colours, perfect for your little one to create their next masterpiece.
Feeding Time
These gorgeous table sets are great for babies that are starting to wean or who are already joining you at the dinner table.
Photography Vouchers
The gift that lasts a lifetime. As a photographer it would be daft for me not to mention photography (and because I absolutely think that it is the BEST gift you can give). Most photographers offer Christmas shoots, or you can usually purchase gift vouchers that new parents can put towards a photoshoot.
Baby Classes
Another gift that lasts longer than just Christmas morning. Research local baby classes, there are usually lots of different ones to choose from. Ask for recommendations from your local community (social media is great for this) and reach out to see if they offer gift vouchers for a term of classes.
I hope you’ve found this useful and enjoy Christmas shopping for the babies in your life! If you have any recommendations or suggestions then do drop them in the comments below for others to check out.
